Our School

Our School is housed in 3 buildings built on extensive grounds, situated in the heart of the Eldene community:

The Acorn Building

The rooms at the back of the Acorn Building house Eldene Pre School. 

The rooms at the front of the Acorn Building are dedicated to work which supports families, health clinics and community use.

Breakfast and After-school clubs also meet in this part of the building.

The Infant Block

This is a one-storey building, where the three infant year group teaching bays, infant hall, infant library and main reception area and offices are located. Little Owls Nursery is also based in this building,

The Junior Block

This is a two-storey building where the four junior year group teaching bays, Special Resource Provision facilities, main junior hall, computer suite, main library and kitchens are housed. In the centre, is a peaceful courtyard with a fountain and fish pond, where adults may take children for a ‘chill out’ session.

Playgrounds and Field

Our grounds are extensive, and are a fantastic resource for learning and play. We have four large playgrounds, two trim trails, football pitches and a small wooded area which includes a space that is used for ‘forest schools’ type activities.
