Heron Class
We currently have 27 Year 1 children who are taught by Mrs Fry.
Mrs Wilkinson, Mrs Collins, Mrs Walters and Mrs Quivetto are our classroom helpers.
Mrs Morgan also teaches Heron class on a Thursday afternoon.
PE is on Thursday afternoon with Mrs Morgan.

Our decorations have all been hand made using twigs and sticks we found in the Woodland at school.
Science Week
We all had a great time looking for mini beasts and learning about life on a farm. The children have done some amazing observing this week. Well done!
Thursday 3rd December
Firefighters from the fire station spoke to us today about 'Fire Safety'. They couldn't come into school but they talked to us via Teams. We learnt a lot! Look out for the letter coming home as this well help the whole family remember how to keep safe if there is a fire.

Heron Class went outside and used blocks to measure leaves and sticks from our woodland area. Great Maths skills Herons!

A few things to remember:
- Read at least 5 times per week.
- Bring your book bag to school daily, with books inside.
- The weather is getting colder. Please ensure your child has a coat in school everyday.
- PLEASE put names in all clothing, including coats.
- If you need to speak to me, please call the school office and I will return your call as soon as I can.
This is always an exciting term, although things will be different this year. Please look out for newsletters and information about future events for the the children at school.
