Wren Class

Welcome to the Wren Website page!

We are a class of 30 Year 3 and 4 children. Mrs Bond is our teacher and we have a TA named Mr Sinclair. We also have a TA called Mrs Turner.

Term 5

Our new topic will be '1066' when we return to school  on 19th April 2021.

Why not find out a little bit about 1066 during the Easter holidays.

Click here to take you to a website all about 'The Normans in Britain'

Here is a link to facts all about the Battle of Hastings.

Also some facts about the Bayeux Tapestry which depicts the events leading up to the Norman conquest of England as well as the events of the invasion itself.

For Red Nose Day, everyone in school decorated a mask to wear in assembly. Here are our amazing masks!

Term 4

Our last topic  was 'Tribal Tales' and we found out about the Stone, Bronze or Iron Age.

Term 3

This term our topic is called PREDATOR. We will be learning all about food chains, habitats and environments.

Do you know any predators?

Do you know what the words prey, predator and apex predator mean?

Can you invent your own predator and their prey?

Some of our children are learning at home and some are learning in school. Wherever you are learning, we are all learning about the same things and we can't wait to discuss all of the exciting information and facts we have learned when we are back together again.

Keep up the good work!

Term 1

Year 3 and 4 have made a really good start to the year and have settled into Wren class well and are now familiar with the new routines that we have at school.

This term we will be learning about the Ancient Greeks through our topic - Gods and Mortals. We had a fantastic hook day where the children all dressed up as Ancient Greeks. The children all made Greek pots, looked at the Greek Alphabet, competed in a mini Olympics and listened to some Greek Myths. Below are some photographs of our fantastic costumes!
