We had a lovely day out at the start of the term. The weather was perfect and we learnt lots of interesting things to end our learning about Richard Jefferies who was a writer in the Victorian times and lived near Coate Water.

Thank you again to all the volunteers who came and helped us. We couldn't have gone without you and are so thankful for your time.

Here are some updates from the end of term 3:

Tudor houses:

We built some great Tudor houses on our mini hook day for the term. Then we made our own mini great fire to see how the fire spread. It was amazing to watch the fire spread. We added a gap between the houses to show why they needed to pull the houses down.

Anti-bullying week and Children in need

We celebrated both children in need and anti-bullying week in week two of this term. We learnt about bullying and thought about the theme, choose respect. Each class presented their learning in an assembly to the parents. For children in need, the children were asked to dress in yellow. We had some lovely bright children and some spotty ones too!

Term 1:

Online Safety:

In our online safety assembly, we learnt lots about our digital lives. Together we learnt some online safety rules, such as:

- be kind

- help people

- do not talk to people we do not know

- only talk to friends and family, not strangers.

Richard taught us to stop, block, tell when something happens online that makes us sad. His golden rule is to speak out and tell someone.
